US History I

In this survey course, students will analyze and critically evaluate the key historical events, political developments, and social changes that occurred in US History before 1492 through the American Revolution and the Civil War. They will connect the events of this period to broader themes in American history and appreciate the impact of these historical developments on contemporary American society and politics.
