Foundations of Motivation

This undergraduate course will focus on the relationship between effective learning and motivation addressing behavioral issues, underlying theories, and classroom dynamics essential for creating interventions. It will provide an introduction to strategies that explore engagement, collaboration, and positive reinforcements in the classroom. Students will gain an understanding of the practical strategies for motivating students and supporting their learning to enhance student engagement and achievement. Students will identify and articulate the education theories and how they influence school culture, instruction, and governance.
