GlobalWatch® Publishing Policies
Policies (Revised January 2009)
The International Import-Export Institute as publisher of GlobalWatch<sup>®</sup> has established the following publication policies.
GlobalWatch<sup>®</sup> contains articles of interest to the international trade industry that are chosen by its editors. Its purpose is to promote activities of the school and partnering organization. Articles may be written specifically for it by others or may be published news from reliable sources. It assumes no liability for the accuracy of the material provided by others.
It is a Free publication in electronic format. Anyone can subscribe to receiving it. The publisher retains the right to discontinue any subscription to any individual or organization for any reason.
GlobalWatch<sup>®</sup> does not sell subscriber information or make it available to others such as “list sellers”. It is only used by the school and its sister organizations.
It is published six times per year.
It does not accept paid advertising. The promotion of other organizations content is generally limited to promoting companies that are strategic partners or affiliates of the school or organizations the publishers have chosen to promote for other reasons.
It is published and distributed electronically in Portable Document Format (PDF)
As a digital publication, generally no errata column of errors or mistakes in previous issues is published. If errors or mistakes are found once an issue has been placed on the company’s website electronically, the errors or corrections are made and the issue is replaced on the website without notice. It an article in a issue has been determined to not be suitable for any reason once an issue has been released, the editors reserve the right to remove the offending article and replace it with other content, with or without notifying readers of the changes at its sole discretion.
GlobalWatch<sup>®</sup> accepts article submissions from any source. It alone determines which articles to publish from these submissions and which issue in which to publish them.
Upon request of article authors, their names and contact information may or may not be provided after their article at their discretion.
