Ethics in Import Compliance

This course explores the topic of ethics as it relates to complying with the letter and the spirit of the U.S. Customs (import) regulations specifically and in general international trade compliance regulations. Upon completion, students can assess the forces that shape business ethics, the import compliance environment in which business ethics exists, and the most common factors impacting ethical performance in the compliance workplace. Students will be able to critically evaluate ethical situations and develop tools to maintain compliance.
