Introduction to Criminal Justice
This course is a foundational undergraduate course that provides students with an overview of the American criminal justice system. Through exploration of its historical development, structure, functions, and contemporary issues, students will gain a fundamental understanding of the components and processes that make up the criminal justice system. Emphasis will be placed on critical analysis, ethical considerations, and the relationship between theory and practice in criminal justice.
