Criminal Procedure
This undergraduate course offers a detailed examination of criminal procedure, focusing on the legal processes and safeguards that govern the investigation, prosecution, and adjudication of criminal cases in the United States. Students will explore constitutional protections afforded to individuals, the roles and responsibilities of law enforcement and judicial actors, and the procedural steps from arrest to trial. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the balance between effective law enforcement and protecting individual rights.
