Foundations of Education

This undergraduate course provides an introduction to the teaching profession including the legal, ethical, philosophical, social, and historical facets of education. Students will gain understanding of the philosophical approaches to education grounded in educational theory and practice. Students will identify and articulate the education theories and how they influence school culture, instruction, and governance.
