Global Supply Chain Strategies (SCM-412)

Course Length: 6 Weeks

Course Description: Building upon concepts learned in earlier logistics related courses, this six-week course adds more depth and complexity as it examines the concept of the integrated global supply chain—, the border-less flow of materials, both raw and processed, information and resources that support performance of organizations competing in the global marketplace. The main elements within the supply chain that link members of the supply chain are explored as a means of developing a strategy whereby global efficiencies can be leveraged for comparative advantage. A formal global supply chain strategy is developed by students to demonstrate their understanding of course concepts to real-life situations.
