Australia Defense Trade Control & Compliance (TRD-323)
Course Length: 6 Weeks
Course Description: This six-week course provides students with a detailed understanding of trade controls as regulated by Australias Department of Defence Office of Defence Trade Control This course is designed both for Australian exporters, who must be in compliance, and for non-Australians who are importing from or exporting to Australia controlled goods and services and need to interface with Australian companies. Students will study the use of the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations 1958, Regulation 13E and other regulations controlling goods and services which require a Defence permit or license as listed in the Defence and Strategic Goods List (DSGL).
Prerequisites: Strongly recommended, but not required. One-year relevant industry experience and completion of TRD-306 [Understanding the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)].
