Trade Compliance Environment I

This course is for new, entry-level personnel who need or want to familiarize themselves with the US trade compliance environment. Upon completion, a student will possess a basic understanding of the duties and responsibilities of those working in regulated trade compliance—import/export—within an organization, the function of government in mandating trade compliance, the most common trade compliance problems, and the career possibilities in choosing this profession. Students seeking an in-depth understanding should enroll in advanced (300-level) courses that deal with these topics.
