Tuition & Financial Aid

In keeping with its mission of providing high-quality, affordable distance education to students worldwide, Dunlap-Stone University students are encouraged to take advantage of a variety of federal, state, and private aid programs. We are very sensitive to the rising costs of higher education and make every attempt to keep our quality education affordable. DSU’s cost-per-credit-hour ranks in the fortieth (40th) percentile nationally. (Sixty percent of U.S. colleges and universities have higher tuition rates than DSU.)

Tuition Increase Notice

Dunlap-Stone is committed to affordable educational opportunities for students and has not raised its tuition rate for undergraduate courses in over NINE YEARS. However, over that time operating costs have increased, and DSU’s Board of Directors voted April 15th to increase the undergraduate tuition rate from $330 per credit hour to $380 per credit hour. Accordingly, the cost of a 3 credit hour course will increase from $990 to $1140. Other undergrad courses will increase according to the new credit hour rate.

The increased tuition rate will take effect May 1, 2018.

Graduate tuition rates have not been changed.

Any class enrollments after April 30, 2018 will be assessed the $380 per credit hour rate.

Tuition and Fees

Dunlap-Stone University (DSU) provides high-quality, affordable distance education to students worldwide.

 

Undergraduate (Bachelors) Tuition Per Credit Hour:

Course tuition is based on the number of credit hours. As of May 1, 2018 tuition costs* are:

  • 1.5 credit hours course = $618.00
  • 3.0 credit hours course = $1140.00
  • 4.0 credit hours course = $1520.00

Graduate (Masters) Tuition Per Credit Hour:

Course tuition is based on the number of credit hours. As of January 1, 2014 tuition costs* are:

  • 4.0 credit hours = US$2360.00

 

Fees

  • Undergraduate Degree Program Application Fee US$50.00
  • Graduate Degree Application Fee US$100.00
  • Graduation Fee US$50.00
  • Graduate Degree Comprehensive Exam Fee US$450.00

 

DSU conducts its business operations using US Dollars. For international students, all refunds will be issued using the exchange rate at the time the refund is made, not the exchange rate at the time payment was made.

All course materials, except textbooks, are generally provided to enrolled students in our online classrooms.

Undergraduate Students can expect to pay an average of $75-150 per course for textbooks purchased through popular online sources such as Amazon.com. Textbooks published in-house are available through the DSU website.
