◦ I understand that I may cancel this contract and receive a full refund of all monies paid to date, subject to The International Import-Export Institute’s (IIEI) refund policies (see Refund Policy), except if the course was a specially scheduled course, if cancellation is made in writing to IIEI and mailed/delivered/emailed to the institution at the address or email address stated herein within five (5) business days after the date of signature.

Microsemi Corp Terms and Conditions:

METHOD OF PAYMENT: I understand that as a Microsemi Corp employee, eligible tuition and fees will be paid by Microsemi Corp.

WITHDRAWALS: In the event that I am not able to complete this course, I understand I may withdraw by submitting the appropriate forms to the Administration via mail, fax, or email. Once a completed withdrawal request is received by IIEI, I understand any refundable tuition will be calculated using the standard refund policies. The refundable tuition (total tuition less any registration fees or other penalties) will be returned to the Microsemi Corp via check within 30 calendar days of my official withdrawal request.

RESCHEDULES: Reschedule Option: This option is only available prior to the standard registration deadline of one (1) week prior to the class start date. In lieu of a refund, during this period, a student may request to reschedule their current course to a future start date. All tuition and fees, if not already paid, are due in full at the time of this request, and this tuition credit will be applied to the future start date. The tuition credit can only be applied to any future class of equal or lesser value within one (1) year from issue date. No refunds are permitted whatsoever after a credit has been issued.

My signature below signifies that I have read and understand all aspects of this agreement, including the Refund Policy, and do recognize my legal responsibilities in regard to this contract.

Refund Policies

DSU/IIEI Tuition Refund Policy (Effective as of January 1, 2008):

Any money due the student will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellation request, which may be conveyed in any manner. To ensure that their request has been received, students should submit their request, using DSU/IIEI’s Course Withdrawal form, in writing—either in email or through written correspondence using the U.S. Mail, or via telephone speaking with their DSU/IIEI Enrollment Advisor, or via FAX directed to the appropriate party. The date DSU/IIEI receives your request will be the official cancellation date. To ensure that you have proof of your withdrawal status, your request will be confirmed via email to you. If you do not receive a confirmation email of our receipt of your cancellation, you should contact your Enrollment Advisor to confirm our receipt of your request.

A student who cancels within five days of enrolling, but before the start of class, Microsemi Corp will receive a refund of all money paid to the institution. Any cancellations following the five day registration grace period, Microsemi Corp will incur a non-refundable 20% administrative fee.

If the student enrolls in two or more courses at one time, each course must be treated separately for the purposes of calculating any refundable tuition to the student. For example, a student enrolls in three distinct three-credit courses, but completes only part of one course, the student is entitled to a full refund on the remaining two courses that were not yet started.

The table below sets out the percentage of tuition that will be refunded to students who complete only part of a course.

  • After Week 2 –  40%

Refund Calculations Example:

If a student withdraws from a six-week class with tuition of $930.00 after Week Two, the refund would be calculated:

$930.00

186.00 – less the 20% Administrative Fee

$744.00 — Refundable Tuition Amount

X 40% — Percentage of Refundable Tuition after Week Two

$297.60 — Amount to be Refunded
