Management


The Management emphasis within the BS in International Trade Management program prepares individuals for a wide range of careers in the dynamic world of modern management. In addition to gaining a solid preparation in business practices, management theories and policy, students gain a critical global perspective on managing business in the 21st century.

Course of Study

Students must complete a minimum of 120 semester credit hours to meet the Bachelor Degree Requirements, including the general and specialty emphasis requirements shown below.

GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES

Of the 60.5 overall General Education credits required, the following 30 semester credit hours must be completed to meet the General Education requirement:

* A total of 6 semester credit hours in communications, 3 of which must meet the English Composition requirement.
* A total of 6 semester credit hours in the humanities
* A total of 6 semester credit hours in mathematics
* A total of 6 semester credit hours in the social sciences.
* A total of 3 semester credit hours in Science Technology
* A total of 3 semester credit hours in the physical sciences.

The remaining 30 credit hours of the 120 credit hour degree requirement are Electives. Student may chose any of the other courses offered by DSU, transfer in accredited credits from other schools, apply military training credits, or provide CLEP credits to meet this requirement.
