Introduction to Encryption Controls – Under the EAR and ITAR
This six-week online orientation to encryption controls takes a systems approach to the topic. This course was designed to help individuals develop a general working understanding of the licensing requirements, classification issues and exceptions allowed. It examines the diverse added duties and responsibilities required to maintain compliance with US Government rigid cryptology requirements.
Prerequisite: None required, although it is strongly recommended that students have prior experience with the Export Administration Regulations and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
