International Students

In addition to our domestic students, Dunlap-Stone University welcomes international students from around the globe to enroll in its highly acclaimed and respected online degree programs. DSU supports a diverse student body, and believes that international perspectives enrich and enhance all of our courses and programs. With classes starting year round, chances are there is a starting date soon to meet your needs. Come join our rich and challenging educational environment.

Ready to apply? International students use the standard DSU Application for Admission, available online or in print. If you need assistance with the application, contact an enrollment advisor.  After submitting the application and application fees, international applicants will need to complete the following steps:

Completing and Submitting Your TOEFL Exam Results

DSU requires all foreign students for whom English is not their first language to complete the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam and have the results sent directly to the university’s registrar. Applicants must receive a score of 85 to be offered admission to any of the university’s courses or programs. This exam can be completed online or at an approved testing site.

For more information on where and how to sit for the TOEFL Exam, please review the official site, located here.

Submitting Your Foreign Coursework For Review

Individuals who have already completed university coursework at an institution in a country other than the United States must obtain an evaluation of foreign transcripts, degrees and other relevant documents through a transcript evaluation service prior to application to any of DSU’s programs.

These organizations are private enterprises which charge a fee for their services. Individuals pursuing foreign transcript evaluation must follow the procedures outlined by the organization providing the evaluation.
